Quick Thoughts and OU/Washington Prediction…
With travel on the schedule today, here are some very speedy happenings to ponder and a score to take to the bank on OU/Washington…
First off, with the 7th Anniversary of 9/11 came a great move from the folks at MSNBC to replay the Today show as it happened back in 2001…It was truly riveting, and kudos to the network for re-airing the footage from that fateful day…Normally I am not a big MSNBC fan, but yesterday’s remembrance was spot-on…
And, it was good to see the presidential candidates take the day off of sniping at one another to commemorate those tragic events…
But evidently, they can’t keep that tone going for long…
Secondly, please pray for the folks down in the Houston area with Ike coming at them…My wife and I know some guys and girls down there, and I cannot imagine the uncertainty that the storm is causing to them and all of the other residents of that city…Pray that everyone remains safe during the weekend…
Lastly, as far as the OU games goes, Washington isn’t very good, and they’ve got some key injuries to deal with…But OU isn’t very good ON THE ROAD, and thus this will be closer than I will like…
That being said, OU still has many more weapons, and the game will be much closer than the score shows…
